Sandy Springs Farmer’s Market – Little Diggers

This weekend, participants will plant a lettuce bowl to take home and nurture. Lettuce grows quickly, is shallow rooted so does not need a deep container and is great in cooler weather. And your child may even be willing to eat a salad from lettuce they grow! Little Diggers is for kids with accompanying adult.

Little Diggers is a FREE Family Gardening Series about the fascinating world of horticulture and gardening, presented in partnership with the North Fulton Master Gardeners and in cooperation with UGA Extension in Fulton County.
