Hello Hostas!

Let our North Fulton Master Gardener Volunteers inspire you to get out in your gardens this spring, whether shady or sunny or in-between, there are plants and plans that will suit your landscape and encourage your gardening endeavors.

Hello, Hostas! will inspire you with robust conversation about selection criteria, color options, design ideas and pest management methods for all things hosta-a plant that absolutely loves to grow in our Southeast gardens (if we can keep the deer and the slugs away!).

Goodbye Lawns!

The second talk focuses on reclaiming some of our lawn space by encouraging the expansion of beds and natural spaces through replacing lawns by adding landscape layers-trees, shrubs, perennials/annuals and groundcover. Reducing some of our lawns encourages bio-diversity, stormwater absorption, resilient plants and cuts the need for some of the high-cost maintenance.
